Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Imajin collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are
Imajin is a delivery platform operated by IGNUS USA INC, registered at 2021 Guadalupe Street, Suite 260, Austin, TX 78705, USA (‘Imajin’, ‘we’, ‘us’). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, request access, or use the platform.
For privacy questions, or to exercise any of the rights described below, contact us at contact@anigami.studio.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you give us: name, work email, company, role, and anything else you include when you request access, book a demo, subscribe to updates, or contact us.
- Account information: credentials, organization membership, permissions, and preferences such as interface language.
- Customer content: the projects, requirements, documents, tasks, decisions, and other material you or your organization upload to or generate in the platform.
- Usage information: pages viewed, features used, actions taken in the platform, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Device and log information: IP address, browser type, operating system, timestamps, and error reports.
- Billing information: where you subscribe to a paid plan, the contact and transaction details needed to invoice you. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data, and we ask that you do not upload such data to the platform unless it is necessary and lawful for your use case.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the platform and our website.
- Create and administer accounts, organizations, and permissions.
- Run the features you invoke, including AI agents that act on your content to draft, review, and organize work.
- Respond to enquiries, provide support, and send service and security notices.
- Send product and marketing communications where you have opted in or where we are otherwise permitted to. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Measure usage so we can understand which features are valuable and diagnose problems.
- Meet legal, accounting, and reporting obligations, and enforce our terms.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where data protection law such as the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract with you or your organization; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the service; your consent, where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that already took place.
5. Customer content and our role
When your organization uses the platform, it decides what content to upload and who may access it. For that content your organization is the data controller and we act as a processor on its instructions, under the agreement in place with it. If you are an end user of an organization’s Imajin workspace and want to access or delete content, contact your organization’s administrator first.
For our website, marketing, and account administration, we act as the controller.
6. AI processing
The platform uses AI models to generate and review work from the context your organization provides. Content you submit may be sent to model providers acting as our subprocessors, solely to return a result to you. We do not use your customer content to train publicly available foundation models, and we contractually require our model providers not to train their general models on it.
AI output can be incomplete or wrong. The platform is designed so that people review and approve work, and you remain responsible for decisions made on the basis of that output.
7. How we share information
We share personal information with:
- Service providers who host our infrastructure, run our databases, send our email, process payments, provide AI models, and help us with analytics and support. They act on our instructions under contract.
- Other members of your organization, to the extent your workspace permissions allow it.
- Integrated systems you or your organization connect, such as project trackers or CRMs, when you enable that integration.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or acquirers where necessary for legal compliance, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
8. International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on an adequacy decision or on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, together with additional measures where needed.
9. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described here. Account and customer content are retained for the life of the account, remain available for export for 30 days after termination, and are then deleted or anonymized within 90 days of termination, unless your organization’s agreement says otherwise or the law requires us to keep it longer. Enquiry, billing, and log records are kept for the periods needed for support, accounting, and security.
10. Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls scoped by organization and role, audit logging, and least-privilege access for our staff. No service can be completely secure, so we also ask you to protect your credentials and to tell us promptly at contact@anigami.studio if you suspect unauthorized access.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete information, subject to our legal obligations.
- Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Receive your information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on it.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email contact@anigami.studio. We will verify your identity and respond within the period the applicable law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
12. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to run the site and keep you signed in, plus limited analytics to understand usage. Where consent is required, we ask for it before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, though parts of the platform may then not work.
13. Children
The platform is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product and the law change. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, give notice through the platform or by email before the change takes effect.
